We had our First Overseas AGM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this year. Astonishingly we had 75 confirmations to the AGM including twinkelers and Sq. Legs … We all had a time of our lives. Our Area observer and Chairman Tr. Anand Khara has decribed the trip in his poem ..
The beginning of the trip was very interesting,
Gave me lovely tea when Jenny were treating,
At the airport it was a different matter,
People came early and passports came later.
Rain greeted us at the resort,
People took to the rooms’ comfort.
The AGM was an emotional affair,
With so many greats passing, felt almost unfair.
The pool party later was highlighted by the dipping,
Followed by a pleasure trip in the night accompanied by singing.
The water park for everyone was pleasure sheer,
Many a ladies and children, I know they lost their fear.
The adults went to see the animals in the park.
The CHILDREN chose to try some sports that would scrape their bark.
Then there was the space shot at the park of genting.
And when the rain came, everyone ran panting.
Then came the shopping and the foot messages.
One missed something, the one who dodges.
Back at the airport after a tiring flight.
Everyone disappeared slowly into the night.
