Inauguration of Vizag Ladies Circle

When all the Channels, News-papers, friends & mobiles were echoing these wishes, we Circlars were giving a new meaning to this day,“ Inauguration of Vizag’s First Ladies Circle ”It took 25 years for this dream to be conceived and come true, indeed a very long dream, but these are not the dreams you see closing your eyes but the ones we see with our eyes wide open and when they turn into a reality it is one of the most memorable day for all of us, the birth of the First Ladies Circle in the City of destiny, Vizag.

 

The evening started with the ladies arriving on the red carpet, dressed to kill, as one dear Tabler (bachelor of-course) quotes “ I have never seen our Ladies dress and look so gorgeous for any of our occasions ” Well ! it was our Ladies night and the message was loud & clear from the sarees to the glowing faces and to the loud enthusiasm in our voices.

The Inaugural meeting had our Chairperson Cr.Kavita Khara express her range of feelings from the first contact meet to the Inaugural, her faith in her team and gratitude to all the people who made VLC happen. The Oath & pinning Ceremony by Cr.Mona, National President Ladies Circle who made all of us conscious of our responsibilities and commitments to Circling. Amongst the dignitaries who attended were Tr.Ajay Handa, National President, Round Table India & Cr.Madhavi, Area Chairperson, Area 9, Tr. Aanand Khara, Chairman Area 9, Tr.Bhavesh, Area VC, Tr.Ambareesh Area Advisory Committee Member, Tr.Ravi, Chairman VRT-68, Tr.Deepak Menda, Chairman VRT-77, Tr.Ramana, Chairman WRT-92. Congratulations followed from all the Tablers, Circlars, Sq. Legs, 41’ers, Friends & well wishers present.

Cr.Mona, National President, LCI in her message assured Cr.Kavita Khara & her team to put away their apprehensions and fly off the cliff because only then we will learn and enjoy the beautiful flight of being a Circlar. “Tablers ! Circlars ! & yes the evening would have been incomplete without our Twinklers! The Finale of the evening was a dance performance by the Twinklers all from the age group of  3–10 yrs. They stole their show with their little feet and brought tears  of joy to all the newly elected Circlars. All thanks to our dear Chairamma Cr.Kavita for executing this cute  task. The evening closed with a surprise dance spectacle presented by our Chairperson Cr.Kavita Khara & her team dancing to the tune.As the morning in the index of the day . . . . This Inauguration of VLC predicts this Circle to become on the of the dynamic Circles of RTI. “ Circling is  a  voyage in the Ship of VLC, where much can be done in the management of the sails and the  guidance of  the  helm, as our Ladies Circle is an Organisation that is Non- Secretarian and Non Political exclusively for the wives of Tablers between the age group of 18 and 40.”

Kamakaazi – Season 2

This time the celebrities in question were the chairmen of HPRT 183 & SMART 118 A few sting operations had to be conducted to pull out data about these guys and the response we got from their near and dear ones was phenomenal.

We had the 1 2 1 round with both the chairman, then invited the wives and we had a special guest to speak about Tr.Sidharth karan and his life as a student in Gulbarga!!!

The final round in which you can win or loose the “famous” kamakaazi hamper was the rapid fire round. Both the teams did phenomenally well but Tr.Sidharth Karan walked away with the hamper. hen there was a traditional round of kamakaazi shots (as had been mentioned in the previous show , KOFFEE IS PASSE , KAMAKAAZI IS HAUTE!!!) and signing of the mug to be kept on the wall of fame!!! All in all it was a great fellowship and a fun filled evening.

Colouring Their Dreams – Twinklers @ VRT 77 & VLC

Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Purple …………, all the colours of the rainbow scattered on the floor with kids squatting and splurging their colours on the canvases This perfect setting on a bright sunny morning welcomed all our Fellow Tablers and Circlars for the twinklers painting competition conducted at our Chair-person, Cr. Kavita Khara’s home. This pleasant ambience evoked a sense of déjà vu by reminding us of the last scene of “ Taare Zameen Par” where everybody discovers the joy of painting and drawing.

            The communion of colours, music, twinklers soon got all of us to join their infectious glees in helping them create master strokes. They say that a picture can speak a thousand words. This Painting Competition definitely gave us an insight into the beautiful minds and  un-touched world of our beloved Twinklers. Their personalities were reflected in their canvas & it was a privilege to get these glimpses and believe me, it is definitely a rarity.

 “Every child is special”  this was the universal feeling when we saw their piece of art.           

“ One Tiny Tots drew a Butterfly in a garden. . .,           

Another cutie drew her favourite cartoon . . . ,           

One child artist drew a forest full of peacocks . . . ,           

Another a galaxy of stars”           

Well these exquisite blend of ideas and  stunning art works of these little  maestros  dazzled all the grownups and got us to believe them to be truly TAARE ZAMEEN PAR.            The Competition was complimented with the presence of our Area 9 Chairman Tr.Aanand Khara, Tr.Deepak Menda, Chairman VRT-77, Cr. Kavita Khara, Chairperson VLC, Cr.Sunitha Agarwal & Cr.Rajini Chitra. The day was concluded by a sweet dance performance by all the twinklers dedicated to the event Coordinator Mr. Rana Uppalapati who felt honoured by their innocent love.           

In one line the Whole event was dedicated for “colouring  their  dreams” in return “colouring our lives”

HEP-B @ VRT 77 & VLC

Dear Friends

We inaugurated the Hepatitis – B Vaccination camp at our RTI School in Karasa, Visakhapatnam on March 8th, 2008

RTI National President – Tr. Ajay Handa, Area Chairman, Area 9 – Tr. Aanand Khara, LCI National President – Cr. Mona, and LCI Area Chairperson, Area 9 – Cr. Madhavi graced the occassion.

The camp was a great moment of joy, service and Tabling as usual for the Tablers and Circlers of VRT-77 & VLC

The First Round of the Vaccination had been sponsored by AIRTEL.

Along with vaccinating the young school children, also the Tablers, Circlers, Sq.Legs, and Twinklers were Vaccinated.

As the digital clocks displayed the time as 00:00, The door bells just started going off nonstop at our Area Chairman, Tr. Aanand’s House…….afterall its his birthday yaar…….We at 77 Wished the Area Chairman on his Birthday (March 7) at exactly Midnight …check the pictures out.

“JUST PUNJABI”

“JUST PUNJABI” Social Meeting hosted by

Tr. Maninder Singh Kandhari and Cr. Jasmit

 23^rd February 2008, Evening 8:00 PM was the time for all the Circlers, Tablers, Sq.Lgs and Twinklers to get together to an Ethnic PUNJABI Evening, hosted by Tr. Manny and Cr. Jasmit.

 As we entered the venuw Hotel DV Manor, we saw a complete RURAL PUNJAB Festivity ambience created with Sugar Cane, Hay Stacks and a Tractor too. With hosts tying Turban and Kadas to all the Tablers & Twinklers and Bangles to Circlers. It further acting like a Sardar in Mood.

Glasses of Lassi and Typical Punjabi mouth watering Snacks and cuisine along with Patialla Pegs for the non Lassi drinkers broght the evening to a swinging note and almost ended at 12 baje. Again we continued with more vigour and spirit dancing away to the Punjabi tunes the Bhangra way. The Circlers performed GIDDA and Dhole music was at its best all through the night.

 The Circlers conducted a few games in which everybody participated. Games like THE GANNA peeling, PANJA Fighting (Arm Wrestling), Vegetable hunting and Kushwant Singh jokes were played amidst Fun and Laughter. At the end of the Night everybody realized why a SARDAR Family lives Happily ever after.  O’ PAPPAJI BALLE BALLE. Enjoy Tabling,Tr. Kamaakaazi with kishore

Koffee is PASSE …Kamaakaazi is HAUTE!!!

Kishroe hosted a great show which was named Kamaakaazi with kishore , the tabling celebs who were invited on the show were Tr.Vicky and Poonam , Tr.Bhavesh and Deepa. it was a different kind of show, where in Bhavesh and Poonam (vicky’s wife) were in one group and Vicky and Deepa(bhavesh’s wife) were in the other group.

The Celebrities answered the questions fired at them with utmost diplomacy and wit , while kishore was trying to ccorner them in his own inimitable style!!! The kamaakaazi hampwer was won by Tr, bhavesh but another star of the vening was Tr.navdeep who was the star great crasher / beggar in the studio!!!
