April 13th 2018 will be recorded as one of the most historic and important days in tabling history not only for VRT 77 but for all the other tables also .
For VRT 77 , the day started off with a press meet in the morning at V Hotel where we had people coming in from various print media houses . In this press meet , our chairman Naveen spoke about what RTI is about and its long term project FREEDOM THROUGH EDUCATION and also about the projects that 77 has done over the years along with information about our upcoming projects.
In the evening , upon the arrival of National President , Tr . Christopher Arvindth and Area chairman Tr . Vivek Maheshwari , we had another press meet about our 6 projects being inaugurated and also a talk about RTI .
This was followed by a historic joint meeting of all the 5 tables in the presence of NP Tr . Christopher, AC Tr . Vivek , APC and NCSR convenor Tr . Ashish Sonthalia and NPC Tr . Mouriya Phillip .
There was good turnout for this meeting of about 80 heads and it was nice to catch up and interact with tablers of other tables . The meeting started of with an induction in VRT 77 . Tr . Pradyumna got inducted into the movement in the presence of Area and national dignitaries. I’m sure it was a moment to cherish as inductions in the presence of Area and national board members don’t happen too often …. After the induction , each table gave a presentation of all the work that had been done till now . Chairman Riaz spoke a few words about WRT 92’s experiences in hosting the world meet in Vizag and urged every tabler to make use of the opportunity to experience international tabling
The Sargents for the evening were Tr . Shrawan and Tr . Sushanth . Tr . Shrawan made a rule that no tabler sits with a tabler from their same table just to make sure that they interact with tablers from other tables . Another activity that he had was to make teams of fellowship convenors from all tables . They had to sit together and come up with a fellowship activity that could be worked on and executed sometime in this quarter .The teams came up with their ideas and presented it to the floor . This was a fun activity where the Fellowship conveners came out with unique ideas ….
The meeting proceedings continued where in the Area and National dignitaries gave speeches .They said that it was always a great feeling to be in Vizag where all the tables are doing extremely well and setting higher benchmarks year on year .
VRT 77 released its 2nd Issue of the PEARL Magazine. The convenor was congratulated for his efforts .
The President’s star award medal was awarded to Chairman Tr . Naveen Perla , Chairman Tr .Riaz Khan and Tr . Shashank Dutt . Congratulations to all of them
VRT 77 , VVRT 213 and VART 305 also got recognised for fellowship for Quarter 3 .
Chairman Tr . Naveen spoke about the 6 projects being inaugurated and invited tablers from other tables to be there as well . Chairman Vinay of RT 225 spoke about his table’s project inauguration as well .
All in all , it was a fantastic meeting with a lot of memories to take back and cherish for a lifetime
